Elongation Rheometer
It is mainly used to measure melt strength and tensile flow behavior.
It measures the tensile properties of polymer melts by drawing a vertical melt line at constant or linear or exponential acceleration.
It can measure the force value of drawing line material, and calculate the tensile stress, tensile ratio and tensile viscosity.
It can distinguish small differences that cannot be detected in other test and analysis methods (including shear test), and shows the influence of different molecular structures on tensile flow.
Using the above rheological parameters, further analysis can obtain
(1) Structure information, such as molecular weight distribution (MWD), branching, etc. Tensile flow is more sensitive than shear flow to reflect the copying structure of polymer materials.
(2) Processing information, such as: simulating actual processing conditions, the role of stretching flow, optimizing process conditions, improving production efficiency, etc.
(3) In addition to the shear data, the tensile test data also provide a panoramic image for the development of the material equation.
*Front to rear traction system
Another pair of traction rollers are attached to prevent the adhesion of the stretched polymer melt beam when passing through the first pair of traction rollers.
*Extended speed control
The current traction speed is 60% higher than that of the previous model. The speed control is stepless, up to 1900 mm/s (114 m/min) and the maximum acceleration is 3200 mm/s2.
*Measuring range
The measurement range of the force value is extended to 0~ 2 N, the resolution is 0.001 n, and the calibration is performed automatically
Set.
*Software
Windows ® The software has the most friendly user interface. Analysis and calculation function integrated into MS Excel ® Therefore, it is very comfortable and convenient to express or adopt advanced processing methods.
A joystick can initialize and control the experiment completely and freely.
*New features added
Besides constant speed and uniform acceleration traction speed, exponential speed control is added.
Rheotens and haul-off both include the function of measuring tensile viscosity according to Professor Wagner
