Optimization of spinning process in synthetic fiber production
Optional measurement of extruded profiles using an optical measurement system
Fiber spinning is carried out in modern spinning system, and the spinning speed can reach 8000 m / min. The general spinning process usually operates in the range of 5000~7000 M / min.
So far, these materials are almost all produced from synthetic plastics, and the processing capacity of synthetic plastics is well known. However, for sustainable development, these synthetic plastics are increasingly being replaced by biopolymers. This leads to the necessity of approaching the process test conditions.
The rotary line rheometer is specially developed for this application and can reach a pull-out speed of up to 7000 m / min.
The material is melted in a small extruder in the laboratory and then measured by a spinning line rheometer. The length is 1300 mm.
The device is also equipped with a high-resolution force sensor for measuring
small force.
A typical test method is the ramp test to achieve the required pull-out speed in a
short speed holding phase. In the case of monofilament, the material can also be wound on the pull-out wheel without any significant speed increase
