Air mixer

Compared with traditional systems, the mixer provides extreme speed and flexibility, reduces the whole processing time, and enables operators to mix powders with different characteristics in a controllable environment. The mixer has a capacity from 2 liters to 5000 liters and allows mixing of samples within the range of 10-100% of the capacity.

The system is particularly suitable for pharmaceutical preparations in which active substances must be treated without contamination or changing their properties.

This easy to integrate system consists of a main container with an integrated central deflector and a powder conveying system PTS with two tangential inlets on the top. The powder is automatically introduced by the PTS and circulated in the container for a preset period of time, and the deflector ensures uniform distribution of the mixture. Due to the two jets meeting in the PTS body, the mixing process is faster and more effective, but the circulation speed is limited and the particles will not be damaged. The system works under inert atmosphere conditions and is used to treat water absorbent, oxygen sensitive or explosive powders.

Powder can be transferred automatically from drums, bags or directly from processing equipment such as granulators. At the end of the mixing process, the system can be completely emptied automatically for the next stage of production.
