Dynamic / static friction system

The system can measure the friction of material surface by using a very load sensor.

The test results are represented by the curve of static friction coefficient versus dynamic friction coefficient. The self calibration procedure ensures that the instrument functions properly.

Stripped accessories comply with international testing standards. The rated value of load sensor is 0.011% of 1kg non-linear full-scale deflection and 0.032% of hysteresis full-scale deflection. Test materials: samples and components.

Test description

A unique computer feedback loop program (which detects the beginning of movement) is used to determine the static friction coefficient of the contact surface. The dynamic friction coefficient was recorded 20 times during the test.
